Dallas Fort Worth Surf's Surf the Lake competition saw big competition, a big wake from 2019 Malibu 25 LSV, and even bigger smiles from everyone that came to Hidden Cove Park in Frisco, Texas. DFW Surf's “Surf the Lake” is a grassroots wakesurfing competition designed from riders from all experience levels, ages, and skills to come out and experience a surf wave like no other proudly presented by Malibu Boats and Waterski America.

Saturday saw the anticipated event unveiling of Malibu Boats 2019 25 LSV, the new flagship model in the world’s best-selling towboat family. This brand new 25 LSV pulled all the riders with different styles and skills making it ideal and fully custom for every surfer. Surf the Lake has competition divisions for Juniors, Beginners, Amateurs, Masters, Open Longboard, and the Outlaws all with cash prizes.

Surf the Lake is truly an event about gathering together and celebration the community’s love for wakesurfing and being on the water. This year saw an incredible turnout, and Malibu Boats was stoked to see all the surfers come out, bring their A-game, and have fun at the same time!
